Not trying to hate but damn those prices kinda high. Or is that including shipping?
Most of those items you can find locally for half the price. But ones again not hating and that’s in in Ga where I live.
Thanks for asking, and my response is not directed at anyone in particular. It is just a blanket statement.
So, let’s start with initial pricing. I based my pricing off of local yards (not you pull it yards), local craigslist and classified ads, and eBay for a final measure. Shipping is generally dependent on location, east coast being closer will obviously be cheaper.
Secondly, I stated that if my prices were high, message me and we can discuss this. I meant privately, but I will put this out in the listing so I don’t have anyone else wondering why I priced the way that I did.
Third, they are suggested prices. Look at it from my perspective as well, I researched the numbers, I know what I have into he vehicle and roughly what shipping should be. However, there may be errors in my pricing, or my estimation on shipping charges.
Now also look at it this way, do you like getting lowballed on anything you sell? Have you tried shipping a complete door to anyone? Anything like that is damn expensive to ship at the rates they are at now, so if I sold a door for what I had listed it at, I’d be wasting my time and damn near losing money for not adding shipping costs.
In an ideal world, I would say anyone could have anything they wanted off of it, no charge. And in all honesty, if someone desperately needed something and didn’t have the means to make the purchase, I wouldn’t hesitate to give them the part.
But unfortunately I’m not independently wealthy, so I gotta make some money back on my investment. And I’m sure you all have been in a similar situation, am I wrong?
Once again I am not directing this towards anyone, and I appreciate those who have already bought some parts already. You guys rock!
