Hi folks - I am a new member and happy to be here. I just purchased a 2021 GMC Yukon Denali Ultimate with 27K miles. I love it.

Please refer to the picture - you'll notice I'm pointing out a "dim" section of the passenger side DRL led. Is this common? Is this an actual issue? Hard to fix? How to fix? Should I take it to the dealer? I've had the vehicle about a week now. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated!

Ron

Pics of the truck, please.

You are already receiving sage advice from the knowledgeable folks on this Forum.

I cannot personally assist you with your issue, but other members of this Forum much more knowledgeable than me with this model year will chime in. Is the truck still under warranty?

Thank you. I believe the truck is about to or just fell out of warranty but I did purchase a 7 year extended full coverage warranty. I posted a picture of the issue in my original post.

Hi there, recently got a 2021 Denali, and I too noticed that one of the DRL headlights, the driver's side, looked quite a bit dimmer than the other one. I also noticed this on someone else's vehicle, and this is what prompted me to check my truck.

Just wondering if you were able to have your truck checked out at the dealer and if they did anything to fix the issue, and if yes, please let me know how much it was? Thanks for your time!

I'm "the guy", and this is NOT a bot account, and if you don't believe it, just take a brief look at some of my posts (other than my welcome posts), or my supercharger build thread.

Yes, I have a standard welcome for ANYONE who joins this GREAT Forum. At my advanced age, it is far simpler and easier to copy/paste a standard but meaningful welcome comment, or a standard but meaningful answer/reply/solution to a particular common issue, and perform some minor customization on the fly if/when needed, than it is to type from scratch every time and correct my numerous typos.

And, regarding "The guy posted a photo of his truck", we like multiple photos of the truck when available, including the interior.

If this "same reply is in EVERY new post" bothers you, that is indeed unfortunate.........., for you.

I can assure you that it's not a bot account, but you are welcome to use the Report button at the bottom of a post if that's your impression or you have a question about a post, and a mod will gladly look into it.

Some members won't be interested in some posts, so if that's the case I would suggest skipping over those. You can also "ignore" a member if you so wish, and you'll no longer see that member's posts.

In the meantime, let's value members' contributions to the welcoming atmosphere here at TYF. Thanks for your consideration and helping to make this a place where people can freely share, and in their own unique ways.

It looks like some of the diodes in your right headlight have burned out. If there is a warranty, then you can change the headlight under it; if not, then send it to a service center so that they can fix it. There are cheap Chinese diodes in the headlight.
My entire left side DRL was also burning out.
