I think I messed up yesterday. I had a buddy give me a Diablosport tuner that he said he wasn't using anymore, but he actually still had his truck tuned with it. I tried to put the tune on my Yukon and at first it seemed fine. Then came a message saying unable to install tune, would you like to install backup (factory) tune? So I push yes and it begins to install my factory tune. Then I get a message saying unable to install backup tune. For whatever reason, my PCM will not communicate with the programmer now and I have no tune on it. It will not read the vin or trouble codes, says unable to communicate. Battery will turn on, radio and climate control works, but the engine won't start. I talked to Diablosport and they want me to send my PCM and tuner in, but they will charge me $100 plus shipping both ways. A friend said my local Chevy dealer may be able to reflash it, but they won't know until they hook it up. And they will still charge me the $85 diag fee even if they can't flash it. Anybody have this happen before? I'm trying to figure out which route I should go before I waste a bunch of money..

Well it sounds like you wiped the PCM. After the key is cycled off it is permanent.
