I had the superchips, K&N intake and Flowmaster on my 97 Silverado pickup. I did the mods at seperate times and here is what I noticed. Superchips was first...no real noticable difference. Flowmaster 50 series made a noticable difference. K&N intake was last and made the most difference. In short, save the $ on the chip and just modify your exhaust.

On a side note. I did notice a difference after the truck was programmed with the Superchip because I then had to use Premium gas. If you are not using premium gas now just switch to it and you will get the benifit of a Superchip!

330 at the crank? At the rear wheels? This is the stock 350? because if that is the case I think they were more like 220 at the tires. My mild 383 is about 350 at the crank, but about 500lbs tq at the crank too.

And yes, the more sticker the more power you make, duh! Just like on all those POS imports, the bigger the exhaust tip the faster they go. Makes sence right, 1.5" tubing back to a 6" tip. I tend to rant, I'm done now.
