Performance muffler?

Is there a muffler that will yield more MPG? Looking to only swap muffler, not a catback.

not that noticeable...more sound than any mileage gain...

muffler, it comes down to what sound you prefer...

A decent muffler will improve mpg slightly, but like Blue said, 6 one, half dozen the other.

I found a magnaflow MAG15778 catback cheap but can I make it work on a tahoe? Its made for a Silverado ext cab short bed.

honestly, the exhaust is perfect on these, just save your cash and just replace muffler. You gain nothing doing complete exhaust...(cat-back)

I have a 2001 5.3L Tahoe. I'm getting 19mpg on the highway with a Magnaflow muffler and a CAI. I don't know how that compares to other people's mileage. A Black Bear tune is next on the agenda.

Intake, exhaust and tune combo increased my MPG by 3... lost it with the 3K stall :D lol
