Performance Upgrades for 07 Tahoe 5.3l

On a good note I got my K&N CAI in today and installed it!!! Since I am missing a muffler I am not sure of the results but I took pics of every step of the way. I will try to post all the pics but I am sure it will take a while. Be patient with me and I will get them up. Thanks for the help and I am almost done with this chapter of my tahoe!

Well, I got my muffler installed today. Charged $70, A lil steep but on short notice I couldn't complain. I was gonna take pics and post but the GF stole my camera and cords so now I am left typing this with no pics to share. Hopefully I can get it back this weekend and post them up.

So, finally got my camera back.....ugh. The CAI and the muffler already seem to make a difference in acceleration. I am really pleased with the outcome. The sound is what I was wanting so thanks everyone for the recommendation!

I will post the basic pics tonight. Does everyone want me to post the step by step pics or is that too much? It will be a LOT of pics and descriptions, Is there a better place or way to post them up without taking so much room and time?

I also got all the time and data logged for the bb tune and sent that off to Justin on Saturday. Hopefully I will get it back by thursday or friday and get to test these awesome tunes you all are talking about!

I just tried to post some pics and to no avail...memory card missing. After asking her where it is she says " oh, its at my parents house" You can imagine how frustrated I am at this point. I feel bad because I said I would post them a few times now.

Well, all I can say is hopefully I should have them up this week. Sorry guys for the delay and I will let you know when they are up.

Finally!! PICS!!!!!!

Finally got the memory card with the pics on it. Here are some of the pics from the muffler, and CAI install. I am going to post the muffler first and then try the ton of pics for the CAI install. Bare with me on this...... the finished muffler is on the left 3 and the stock muffler is the last two.

CAI Install

Ok, now for the CAI install. There is a ton of photos, I just followed the directions from the k&n instructions and everything went smoothly. This is a K&N model 63-3058.

The pics should tell every step of the install from start to finish. Here we go....
