I actually was just thinking to take my shark fin off, paint it, and throw it back on after I finish fixing the sunroof. What did you use to reglue the front part of the headliner?

haha, man. you are Overthinking this whole process. it's not glued to the metal of the roof. it's all just one pre pressed piece. remove a couple screws and it will hang down enough to get your arms in there. then screw it back together.

Ha , i had the same idea for mine. Can't stand the borders on these lights on our trucks. Nice touch!

Gap Mania! hahaha

The cloth material itself is glued to the stiff board, most likely fiberglass type material. You'r not actually pulling that down, you're dropping the board itself, which is held up with
The A Pillars plastics, the pegs and screws from the front visors, and I forget what else. It really isn't hard to do. Just be careful and pay attention what you're doing and check out @Sevenevez's page for reference. Easy, believe me.

Tony, yesterday (on a beer run) i walked out and there was a 87 GNX parked about 2 spots away from me. Guy said he was the Only owner and he drove it off the showroom floor brand new. He said it needed a few things but man, it was flawless inside and out to me. Of course i didnt have my phone.

What year is yours?

it was a Grand National. i thought "GNX" was short for Grand National
Ahh, they built 547 GNX's. GN bodies were pulled from the regular assembly line with no rhyme or reason, so no special vins or sequence. They had special rearend assemblies, bigger/special rims and tires(16's from the GTA Trans Ams), bigger turbo, fender vents and no emblems. Also had a special dash. Those were the only visual cues. They were really nice. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one. I've seen them go for $25,000 with over 100,000 miles on them.
