I know I am late on this but there is a case you can buy for every model of IPhones that comes with a magnet you hook to your dash. They are made by Rokform and are cheaper than the mounts.

I've used Proclip mounts in the past, and have been mostly pleased. I like the Kuda mounts better, but they do not have one available at this point. The biggest problem I've had with the Proclips is that even after you shell out for one of their phone mounts, you still have to provide a $25 cable to finish it out. Oh, and the cable is bright white.

I too have been using ProClip for years - spendy but a great product. For a 2015i Denali they are researching a mounting bracket for the "flat" spot to the left of the drivers center air vent. It will be a tight fit because they must avoid the screen which moves up and down and the gear shift lever. Their existing mount for the left or right side of the center console won't work - my GPS is too wide. And it is too far from line of sight while driving. Keeping my fingers crossed - many of us have the same need.

Ok, we get it. You don't use a phone holder. Some people do.
