the rear window delete and window stretch is GREAT.. and those were the hard parts...

you did chop the front tire into a flat spot and the intercooler is crooked.. the angle on this bumper was a POS to get stuff centered.. but.. it needs to be moved over towards the passenger side..

Thanks for the compliment on the panel / window. That was time consuming, but that kind of stuff is actually pretty easy (for me anyways). I got a lot of practice on work of that type doing touch-ups on goalie gear for Vortek Hockey's website when they were around.

I was rushing to try and get the entry done in the few minutes I found to work on it last night. (It was my b-day, and is also the mrs. b-day. Working on a photoshop would NOT have gone over well if she knew what i was doing! :) ) After I got rid of the rear window, I looked at it and wanted to try and fix that tire but just didn't feel like messing with it anymore. I spent way more time on the panel then I wanted to. The intercooler was a last-minute thing after getting that front bumper on. I didn't like the lower grille, so it was either that or try and match the grille. Probably should have gone with matching the grill instead, but live and learn.

I agree that angle is killin me. I just went back to see if I could fix that intercooler. Yeah, no. I'm just getting annoyed with it. LOL

Next time I take the tires and rims as a layer, not just overlay the rims. That's why I couldn't get that damn flat spot fixed either!

When im doing these i usually have a front wheel layer.. a rear wheel layer.. a rear wheel lip layer.. top of car layer.. bottom of car layer.. ground effects layer.. front bumper layer.. color layer.. and in this cars case interior and widebody front and rear layers.. lol...

And i merge them into one when nessacary to do paint sweeps or liquify filters.. and stuff.. usually my psd usually ends up being at least 15 layers.

I think I had about 15, maybe 20 layers also, but some of them honestly weren't needed. One was just a 'backdrop' to use when erasing parts of an imported pic to make sure I got everything. I had one for the rims, both bumpers (the first one and the final), grill, intercooler, lettering, etc. I just didn't think about doing tires separate this time because I really didn't want to slam the thing. There's always next time, right? :)

I'm still getting my feet wet with some of the new stuff in CS3 (i.e. Transform -> Perspective - I don't remember that in 7.0). Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't.

I think that's what I did. Selected everything then adjusted the color balance to get it where I wanted it. Probably would have been a better match it I had just kept it the base color and did them all at once, but no - I'm the moron who decided to do the color change first. :emotions122:
