** Update to lowered and on 26's.....So I trimmed the bumpstop bracket, but did not do the whole free travel mod because I daily drive on 26's and if I hit a big dip in the road the tires would definitely hit and probably shred up.

What we did was trim half the bracket and put a much smaller bumpstop in it. I also trimmed more plastic and went to work on looking at what was making a cluncking sound...... WELL, the rear belltech coil had actually shifted after hitting a big bump. I don't know why this kit does this but the rear suspension is TOO soft... I am going to swap out the rear coils and shocks eventually, but anyone riding on 26's i would NOT recommend the belltech shocks and belltech coils for daily driving.... I think I am either going to go with DJM and/or bilsteins.

I really would like some answers so i am going to write a letter to Belltech and let everyone know what my problems have been with this rear setup. I would also like to see if Tony can clear up any of my concerns on the forum or let me know if he has encountered these problems, I do know he will try and take care of our problems out here.

Attached is a picture of the tahoe. Dropped 2/4, 26's, and blacked out.

Sorry about your problems. Truck looks DAMN good though. This has me wondering now, cuz I had decided on the 2/4 beltech for my 11 hoe. I'll be on 285/45/22's though. Whats your take on that one??

first on the springs ive seen the lower mounts welded farther out which in turn makes the spring rub but your not bottoming out the spring when it clunks that happens if the bumpstop is to short and the axle will slap the frame before the bumpstop has its chance to do the entire job.

if the rear shocks are to soft i would look into the djm ones. There is no reason getting rid of that belltech spring.

The spring you have is the 5305 spring which rides better than there 5323 kit. The 5305 has been used since 2000 and was a 4 inch drop on the older 00-06 trucks and its used on the 00-10 autoride trucks and also on the 07 avalance and the yukon xl and the suburban. It has a stiffer spring rate thats why I DO NOT use the 23323 kit its even softer than what you have now. After seeing the 5305 on a suburban xl and a yukon xl (which belltech uses)Ii never went to a 5323 spring because like i said its to soft. Lets Start off with stiffer shocks because thats going to have to be done first. Other people will say get the HD bilsteins.

one thing with a 4 inch drop the rear swaybar must be pointing to the ground right now.

btw not sure if you got my text message. I'll send you a set of the djm rear stiff shocks for free. Slap them in and test them out if you like them we can work something out if you dont like them just send them back to me.

I can do that and see how you feel about the ride then again ive had people say to me that the djm/or hds rode to stiff and they want it softer but in your case its the opposite.

Damn, I have Belltech 4" springs and rear Belltech shocks with 26's and I don't have any problems. I am going to bag mine pretty soon though :mexsmoke:
