UPS just dropped mine. All looks brand new inside. Won't have time to do anything with it until at least Sunday. I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

My biggest question is where to tap for power. I want something that is ignition on, so it's always on if the car is running. Suggestions?

anything 12v from the ignition.. Anthony posted a thread in the previous pages about it.. check it out on page 3

i wouldnt pull it from the headunit, theres plenty more wires under there, you need all the power you can get to the headunit

Link didn't work for some reason.

I was also going to run mine into my head unit.

Shipped Monday, it arrived in town Wednesday night, but they didn't deliver until today because that was the delivery date. Sometimes I hate being able to track UPS, because then I know my stuff is just sitting in a warehouse waiting to be put on the correct day's truck.

So, technically, I guess it took 5 days. I live in Alaska, so they think it should take longer, even though it usually doesn't since everything is flown here. And, btw, free shipping on anything to Alaska is unheard of, so this guy was a screaming good deal for me....lol.

As for wiring, I thought about the fuse tap, but think I'll try to find the pink wire in the ignition harness first. You just splice into it or what???

Yea that would work, just shave some of the outer plastic off the wire and tap into it that way, or they sell those plastic taps from 3M. Those are the easiest way to go, but the actual splicing is better..

For you guys that have already done the install, a couple of questions:

Where did you run the ground wire?

Did you hide the cable under the floor, and if so, how? My rear flooring is plasticky under the carpet and it literally seems glued down somehow.
