Sweet ride. And doesn't the platinum have like a totally different suspension set up too?

All Escalades have MRC since 2009, and the Platinums before that.

The compressor you're hearing is the autoride airing up, that's the same on any autoride suv and unrelated to the MRC.

So what exactly is the MRC?

Finally someone else says the escalades stop better!
Can someone please figure out the difference between the Tahoes and escalades braking system.

Really? I've had both and they both stop exactly the same.

Ah I see. I would've thought the same. So now that you've had both the autoride with the Denali and mrc on the platinum, what would you say the differences are as far as ride quality?

In regards to stopping power the Escalade gets a big thumbs up! AND like I said in my other post my Denali had Centric Slotted Rotors with Hawk pads. You would think the Denali would have the edge but its not even close! My boss has a 2013 Tahoe LTZ with 2k miles and its stops very similiar to my Denali. No way does the Esky have the same brake components, no way!

As far as the ride goes its nite and day. The Esky is much more smooth and quiet. Its a much more refined ride, I really havent beat on it as its been raining nearly everyday so the jury is still out but I have a feeling its going to kick ass in the corners. And again not sure if you seen my other post my Denali had Michellin LTX MS2's which are the top of the line highway tire. The esky has Bridgestone AT's which are a knobby all terrain tire but yet they are really quiet and smooth. I cannot imagine how sweet this truck would be with an all season highway tire. Eventually I will probably go with the Yoka Parada's as they look sick!
