hmmm...so I need new rear shocks...whats the BEST "drop shock" out there?... (shorter then OEM length)

I have the bilstein hd shocks all around (sitting in the garage :) ) and the rear shock extenders...

Talking with Max, and that's the same he did. The shock extenders help the shock stay close to stock length, which is what helps your ride.

Shock extenders, Belltech part 6651, $58 , best price, just came in today. Again, max linked this to someone else in another thread

Bilstein Front shocks part #F4-BE5-6500-H0
Bilstein Rear shocks part #F4-BE5-6501-H0

Thx...I gotta figure out exactly what a stock Denali is sitting at from fender to ground because Im curious for some solid numbers..

I'm outta Oklahoma for good now...now I'm back in Sacramento

Looks much better man. I like:cheers:

Thx JK...still...yours is sitting a lot nicer...I'd like to get the rear to drop another inch..but I dont wanna take the isolators out...right now, when on a lift...I can pull the springs out by hand...thats not good at all..without the isolators, they would probably fall out the next time I jump the truck...

Since I put the 5 inch drop coils in the rear...I'm just using the Mcgaughys drop shocks that it came with...no need for shock extenders...

if I get shock extenders, could I put the air ride shocks back in? or would I still have to use shorter shocks...just different kind?

I'm sitting on the rear belltech bumpstops but keep about 5psi in my bags and it rides great. Next up are some bags, nobody makes a coil low enough and I'm sitting at 30" up front and 31" in back, needs to be 28" all around. Never saw your pm about headers but they don't make my aem longtubes anymore, scooped a hell of a deal on them. Shock extensions will help but I wouldn't put the autoride shocks back in, they're a bit too long with a legit 5" drop even with shock extensions and it's a pain in the dick to get the sensors adjusted properly.

Hey BLiz, are your tail lights the 'smoke red' version?

Damn Max, you are sitting 31" in the back. The bumpstop is touching the axle and it still is a good ride. How you get that low in the back with 5lbs in your helper bags and no free travel mod?

I beat the shit out of the coil buckets, belltech 5" drop springs, no coil isolators. I'm running smaller tires now but it would sit at 32" on the 275/55/20s. I'd love to get the fenders down to 25" someday.
