I'm in the midst of installing a Infinity 6020CS component system as a replacement system for my 03 Yukon and I was wondering where is the common placement of the cross over device (in the door?) as I'm a little nervous of this location from the view that the door is opening and shutting a great deal and it may shake loose over time. Please advise

Cheers Ian

I try to hide them behind each kick panel or run them to my amp racks.

Inside the door can get water in it...not a good idea for the crossovers...imho.

Mine are mounted on the doors. Not inside the door, but in between door itself and the panel. This way it doesn't get wet and makes it somewhat easier in that I don't have to run longer runs of wire.
