Best dealer is Laura Buick. Price is what is stated on website. They sell so many trucks/suvs everyday that their inventory changes daily.

Im a finance manager for a car dealership and we prefer people not to pay cash, because banks will pay us for the loan. As a manager i would be more willing to give a better deal to someone financing over paying cash. I will still get the money whether it goes as paper or wire transfers into the dealers bank account.

Bingo.

"Cash is king" died with disco.

I generally tell dealers I'll likely finance with them (when I'm negotiating) and then either pay cash or have them fight against my credit union or AAA for the best finance rate. Rates were so low last year it made no sense to use cash.

I am the worlds worst negotiator because I hate it and want to punch people in the throat.

Anyways, USAA and truecar are the same thing when it comes to pricing.
I usually load the exact car into their buying app, they come up with a price matrix of what people are buying that car for (it is all reported to dmv's, same way Kelly blue etc get their numbers)

I feel if I can get true car or better price then I feel good.

People may get that special haggled deal, or the special onenoff deal... but I feel at least I didn't get screwed any more than the average guy.

Truecar and USAA give a graph of how much people are paying and if the dealer is a true car dealer, what their agreed price is for the car (so you can walk in with a no haggle certificate)

Again this is not the best route but good for for people like me

The key to appeasing a dealer is to tell them you will finance with them, We make ends meet with bank reserve. Ask your finance manager how many month will you have to keep the loan to keep the dealer from getting a charge back and its usually 3 months. Then you can pay it off. Hope this helps, its the best way to get a good deal

I used to go out and do the dealer's install. Alarm, remote starter, heated seat, navigation, ect.... I was always told by the car salesmen they rather move 5 cars on a month with cash. Than 2 finance. He is still getting his commission.
Or just like someone said. Maybe is a thing of the past.
Good day mate!

I bought my fully loaded 2016 Yukon XL Denali for about 8% off (about $7k). I thought it was a good deal at the time, but not sure.
