Plans with my 2000 Suburban

This is my burb. The outside is great. Underneath needs some TLC but for a Michigan truck it's not bad.

My plans

Replace brake lines, fuel lines.
Replace fuel filter.
I would imagine the ABS controller

Water Pump which is sitting on the passenger seat ready to go.

Full detail inside

Chip and sand as much rust off the frame and apply some type of rust prevention paint.

Replace oil pan gasket.

It has 229,000 miles. It's my secondary ride so I have all year to work on the updates.

Anyone else have any suggestions or comments please feel free to share.

If you are looking to go bigger on the tires you should go ahead and install a 3" body lift. It will make the brake line and fuel line change out so much easier and get you some clearance to install larger tires keeping the ride the same.
As far a cleaning, you can use Rustoleum rust Dissolver Gel and then apply some Corroseal.
