my tahoe is all black and the stainless steel tips kind of stick out like a sore thumb. the tips r welded on so i dont really wanna try to take them off to paint so i was wondering if plasti dip would work and i dont have to worry about over spray and if it doesnt hold it will all peel off and not leave a mess like a high temp spray paint. has anybody ever done this pr heard of it being done

There's a thread taking about using high temperature paint... I'm all black too and just bought the SLP tip... Gonna spray it when it comes in... So mask it and maybe try high temp spray paint?

Laugh all you want burb It doesn't bother me could care less to be honest but I wouldn't run plasti dip on anything that can get hot. That's why there is a paint for high temp like engine paint. If you want to clean up messes then go nuts
