Plastidip on chrome emblems

This is the first time I've ever used this stuff but, I think it turned out ok. I'm going to peel the emblems and respray. Didn't come out as even as the grille did.

Just make sure you put enough coats on or it will be harder to peel of when/if you want to.

When you did the door emblems did you tape off between all the letters or just run the tape above, below, and on the sides?? If so how well did it peel off around the letters? need to score it with a knife?

i can't speak for him but if you chose to just tape around the emblem loosely i saw that someone else used a toothpick to get the excess around the emblem off of the paint.

Plasti dip will give it a flat / satin black color.
