Plastidip on chrome emblems

When you did the door emblems did you tape off between all the letters or just run the tape above, below, and on the sides?? If so how well did it peel off around the letters? need to score it with a knife?

I Just taped around the emblem, no need to tape the letters. You actually want some space between the part your painting and the tape. It makes it easier to pull it off. If you put the tape too close; when you go to peel it off it will take it off the part your painting too. As long as you have at least 4 good coats it peels off real easy and leaves no residue. you do not need to score it before.

It is like a flat/satin black. Looks a lot darker in person.
