Hey everyone I am new here and need some help. First thank you for all your help so far just reading the forum has helped me out a lot.

I am the proud owner of a 1999 Old Body Style 2 door Tahoe.

My issue is I am so confused for one I found out that 1999 is were they made the 1999 New Body Style & Old Body Style and I have the Old Body Style looking like the 1998 and lower.
I don’t know if its an LT, LS or what it could be. On my title it doesn’t state this so I pulled it up in car fax and my insurance both say 1999 Tahoe C1500.

The truck I purchased from my local dealership was painted black has shaved door handles and a few other mods. So I am unable to see any of the tags other then the Vin.

Now here is my other dilemma I am going to customize this truck and do some mods and in Vegas there are few good strait up honest people who are willing to give the honest truth other then lying trying to make me there project.

I am dying to change my dash gauges from the stock ones. I don’t want to just do the Blue LED’s I want to do something different Dakota digital wont work. I want to change the 100 MPH to the 120 MPH or even 130 MPH Gauges but of a newer year I called up DD instruments the cant help pointed me to Advanced Auto Electronics they can’t help. I wanted to eventually change out my computer but no one has ever heard of changing the computer from an older model to the computer of a newer.

Does anyone know what gauges I can use or if there needs some custom harness or wiring and were I can get this done?

I will include pics of what I have and what I am settling on because I am being told from everyone I am stuck and what I am settling on I am now being told I cant do that either can someone give me true honest information

I would like to do the cluster of a newer 1999/ 2000/ 2001 style Tahoe/ Escalade

I posted my pics below and in the next post are the new style cluster if you notice I dont have the two smaller gauges to the left...

Thanks in advance

have fun, it requires a hell of a lotta work. and for someone to know what is going on. its been done ovcourse but even still theres no easy way of doing it. swap to a tahoe limited/escalade/police tahoe cluster and be done with it. 120 or 130 mph gauge, white needles, 6000 rpm and shit..

You are better off just buying a cluster bezel and having someone airbrush it.

Does anyone know if the 1999-2002 New Body Style would plug and play unsure if the tranny temp will work was told it will work and the sensor was already installed been told so much confusing info im unsure I am doing a full one off custom dash and center console so the issue with it being a differant shape doesnt matter. Has anyone seen any good looking overlays...

Atomic do you know a part number or were I can get the 130 MPH if I am trully stuck then I would do this.

Blue Can you hook me up with your friend his name the others I have ehard and delt with in the past Divine sounds familiar but unsure if I have heard of them...

Thanks again

all of them are almost identical to each other besides the police one

I think one or two of the plugs will fit but the other ones do not fit. You may have to cut wires and splice them, which is almost impossible if you do not know what they are.
