Hooking up a clarion dvd/cd player in my 2001 yukon. Got all wires from Crutchfield that are needed, but someone was telling me you have to wire the grown to your parking brake??

there's a parking brake override so that you can't watch DVDs without the parking brake engaged. you probably want to bypass that
