Have an 07 Yukon and went to get key fob reprogrammed to work and they said that the fob has real strong signal but when they plugged into the obd port they said it had no signal at all so I got to looking under there and found some wires hanging out with electrical tape wrapped on the ends.how weird no check engine lights or codes can anyone help me with a wiring schematic on the obd port or point me in a direction that would help me?:)

The key fob is probably bad or needs a new battery.
The wires you saw are supposed to be there.
All these SUVs use the same ignition harness and since certain cars don't have certain features/electronics the wire are simply bundled up and insulated under the dash.
