I was driving as usual when I felt loss if power in the engine. Truck wasnt accelerating but I noticed the RPMs going up. So I pulled over gor a bit. Started it back up again only for about 1/2 mile then did same thing. Left it there came back next day. Drove it home slowly abot 25-30 mph. I barely made it home when it started all over again. When I turn it off for bout 5 min. I can go only a few blocks then same thing. It wont come outt as any gears or reverse. But when it first happend I could feel it in the pedal and you can hear something clunking as I press the gas. Kinda sounds like metal to metal. Will a bad differential cause this?

Any warning lights. We’re is the noise coming from? My 2004 did the same thing when the left front wheel bearing started to fail. If that is your case, DON’T Drive it! When the bearing gets that bad, you are possibly miles away from a catastrophic failure.
