Does anyone remember back in the day when they sold those plastic hinged lift gate locks to get more life out of them when the gas charge took a crap?

I forget what the ones I put on my 04 Yukon are, but I open it about 6 inches and it opens itself from there, all the way. They were just some random ones I had laying around I’ll get the number in a little bit
