Did my 1st Seafoam job just now. 8 bucks at O'reilly's. I really wasn't sure where the hell to put this stuff. I've read brake booster line or PCV valve to suction it up. I'm by NO means a mechanic and most the threads/pics on here were for the OBS. When I removed what I thought would be the brake booster line it started pumped brake fluid everywhere. Guess that wasn't it.

Anyway, I BELIEVE I founf the PCV valve and it sucked it right up. I did half in there and half in the gas tank. Not sure if I want to add it to the oil yet or not. I let it sit 15-20 minutes and got a fair amount of smoke...more than you get on a freezing cold day at start up but not one of these smokescreens some of you guys have seen. It seems to idle smoother now so that's a plus.

Here's a couple pics. Like I said, no big smoke screen so I didn't bother with a pic of that.

don't you have to change the sparkplugs now, since they picked up all that stuff that broke loose in the system?

Alright, so what is Seafoam supposed to do for your truck? I've heard a lot of people doing this and that with it, but never tried it myself.

Cleans out all the carbon buildup and crap from where you add it.....brake booster, crankcase, or dump it in the tank.
