When my truck shifts (usually at low RPM's) and even sometimes when I spike the throttle at low speeds, there is a horrible clunk underneith my truck.

Logic tells me that this is my driveshaft, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and how they fixed it.

May not be the drive shaft, check your u-joints and replace them to eliminate that possibility, think it could be the trans?

^^^ agree, sounds more like U joints. MUCH cheaper than a problem with a driveshaft.

Stick truck on flat suraface, in idle, and go from P to D, then D to R, see if it clunks while you move gears back and forth.

yes, it clunks nearly every time I put it into Drive or Reverse.

I certainly hope it is not the tranny, I will cry!
