Alright I know I posted about this last year, but I'm experiencing this issue... :emotions122:

Basically, I feel like I have a misfire in cylinder 6 or 8. It doesn't happen in cold weather, all winter it was fine. The other day however, when it warmed up, the issue returned. When the engine is cold, its runs smooth as glass (maybe the idle is a smidgen choppy). Once it warms up though I get a misfire under hard engine load at, and just off of idle (a/c blasting, radio, steering pump all working at once). When I let off the brakes and give it a little gas, it stumbles a few times and then its off on its way, no more issues... any ideas?

Thermal break down of cap or wire.

hmm I've never heard of that. Now that I think of it, it may just be a bad cap/wire because I replaced everything just before the issue occurred...

I did give everything a visual inspection today and it all seemed alright, cap/rotor show normal wear etc. The #6 & #8 spark plugs, however, do show a bit of unusual wear, almost like overheating, I've never seen it before. I'll post a picture soon.

heres cyl 8, the insulator is dark grey at only one spot, and it's actually flaking off. theres also white deposits along the top of the plug...
