I am pretty sure my problem is the starter but I want some other opinions before replacing it.
Yesterday I tried starting my 2007 Tahoe and there were no clicks or anything. battery was not completely dead because the lights and nav system worked fine. I hooked it up to jumpers and it started right up.
I charged overnight and tried cranking it today with no luck. Now it makes one loud click when turning the key.
Is there any write-ups for replacing the starter if you think that is my problem? Or is it a easy replacement?

New info: I just checked my battery voltage after a 20 hour 2 amp charge and it is at 8 volts! I measured 12.1 before putting it on the charger. Why would my charger kill the battery?

Location
SW CT,
When my '07 Tahoe didn't start it was random and turn the key and nothing, ended up being my crankshaft positioning sensor.
