I went with black drums.. Looks much better than sock rust imo.

high heat paint from Wally World is a lot cheaper than that stuff in your link:gr_grin:
Unless you're doing show...

First - I literally just googled "Wally World, High Heat Pain"

...then it hit me....

What brand were they selling, Krylon?

For me, I would prefer to spend a few extra $$ and have it look really good...especially with orange b/c if it doesn't coat correctly, my guess is that it would look horrible.

On a side note, I'm thinking orange b/c I have a black tahoe and I'm accenting my interior lights (floor) with hidden Orange LEDs....still trying to figure out a way to do it so it looks good.

Has anyone else had success with Walmart high temp on the calipers?

that's what worries me...

but i did see a suburban with red painted AC Delcos and they looked factory...he did a really nice job painting them.

If it ends up looking like crap, how hard is it to get the paint off and go black?

If you going for perfection the better product would be the stuff in your link. Also, I would take the calipers off before painting them.

+1. When I change I'm buying black calipers. Not really feeling the red, even though they came out good.

Hit up eBay for stock calipers earlier last week and very impressed with the rebuild quality. I saw they have the compatible OBS delcos. Cheap.

Look like they'll hold up longer than with the non-corrosive parts and powder coat. I dig the red contrast against black or chrome rims. Black calipers show dust quicker unless you go with carbon pads.
