Alright, so I bought some grip tape but before I could install it, someone posted a solution in one of the facebook groups. They're 3mm EVA foam pads with 3m adhesive, normally used for boat decks and surfaces. This person sold a few custom cut sets and I tried them out. Easy install, we'll see how they hold up but so far so good on the slip-resistance.
