Ok so I know their not the best from wat I've read but I inquired a power dyne charger bd-11a and I am going to put it on my daily 2010 Yukon SLT with the 5.3. now I took it off of a 1998 dodge 318. The whole kit had less then 1000 miles on it. My question is what all can I use off the dodge? I want 2 get everything I can B4 the truck gets scrapped. 2nd is what all am I going 2 need to get to put it on my truck? It's stock right now. I know for the most part what I gotta do but I just want 2 make sure there isn't something I'm forgetting 2 get or do when I go 2 put it 2gether. I'm on a tight budget so I'm doing it as cheap as possible. But some insite would be great just because I've never installed 1 before and want it be work and last
Thanks
P.s also have a set of 20x12 moto wheels and 33/12.5r20 and a 3inch front and 2inch rear level kit goin on it. So the extra power is gonna be needed.

so what are you trying to do?

you have a powerdyne supercharger kit off a dodge and you want to put it on your chevy?

I always hate seeing guys try and start a boost project on a tight budget. it usually only ends up in a dead project with melted piston if it even makes it to running.

but just off the top of my head, you need a mounting bracket for a chevy, the dodge probably won't work. maybe something like this place. only Google listing I saw.

from there if you can get it physically mounted on the engine with a belt running around it. I don't honestly know if these were designed to use the stock accessory belt, or add on pullys, as when I Googled a kit for these trucks, nothing come up. so you need to get it physically mounted and spinning. then you need a intake tube from the supercharger to the throttle body, and then a intake tube from the supercharger to a airfilter box. Hopefully with a spot for the Mas airflow sensor. but a good tuners can run it off the map only if really needed.

then you get into tuning, it you have a flex fuel truck and only run gas, you might be OK with injector size. if not, you'll want bigger injectors. probably a higher flowing fuel pump. these are known for smaller psi numbers. so if you stay around 6-8. you might be OK with oem fuel lines and stuff.

the you'll need something like hptuners to tune it all so it doesn't melt pistons. a good tuner and some dyno time to make it all work right. unless you can tune yourself, but the learning curve is steep. either way you'll need a good wide band setup.

good luck with the project. post of pics and a build thread if you can. be fun to follow along.
