Ok just got home definitely power folding. I could only get the passenger side to fold. The driver side makes a motor sound and doesn't move. Hmmm I assume button on left brings them out and button on right sucks them in? Should I try to force driver side closed since it isn't moving.

Thirsty1258,

I am very sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue with your vehicle. Did you speak with your dealership to confirm if indeed the motor on your mirror is out? Also, you can visit http://www.gm.com/gmownercenter/gm/?campaignId=&vin= to download an online manual for your vehicle.

Thank you!

I confirmed with my dealer my mirror was out, brought it there (WHILE under warranty), and they said it was out due ME BREAKING IT (although there is no outside physical damage in the mirror). I talked to a GM rep here who supposedly called the dealership and gave me an assigned persn to work with who never even returned my call. Then I get a voicemail a week later from GM saying they talked to the dealer and the dealer will replace it.

So I call the dealer back and finally they say "ok they'll order a new mirror". Turns out they didn't, I called back after 1 week, then 2 weeks, then 3 weeks. No mirror yet for week 1 and 2. Third week I left a voice mail and they never returned it. That is what I call ****** SERVICE. This is Service Chevrolet in Lafayette, LA btw for all you people with this problem, don't go there, bc they won't help :)

PS - Can you tell I was mad about it?

Every day I hate dealers more and more. I will only go to auction from now on and now just need to find a legitimate place for repairs.
