I searched and I could not find a definitive answer so if there is one out there and I didn't see it, I apologize upfront. We are looking to upgrade to a Suburban or Escalade and I have recently found some 2014 Suburbans's with approximately 20,000 miles that are within our budget. The Suburban's that we have found are LT packages and if we get one, I will be looking to swap out the bench seat for captain's chairs. I have seen some captain chair sets on ebay that have the power folding and heated option. If I were to get seats that are power folding, is it possible to hook up the power folding option? I didn't know if they use the same wiring harness on all Suburban's and the provisions are there and all I would need to do is install the switch on the C pillar. Thanks in advance.

You would probably have to run wires to the switch, as well has provide wires to the fuse panel. In most cases the wires are not there for options that were not added at the factory.

Ok, thanks for the insight. I have a Sierra 2500 Duramax now and I know that when I looked into adding cab marker lights, the harness was up there and I just had to drill through the cab and plug into the harness.

I have power fold seats in my denali and there is a button to fold each one up by the front lights and garage door opener button. I'm sure you could by those switches and wire them in.

Nice. When I added cab lights to my 04 F250 I had to buy the harness to wire them up.

There should also be buttons on the side post (C post).

Ah yes forgot about those. Yep those are there too. I'm sure you could order that C Pillar from gmpartsdirect.com too.
