Power liftgate thump

When I use the power motor to close the liftgate, just when it seems to be all the way closed there is an extra little thump and the liftgate jumps a little... Is this normal?

It seems to work fine, everything seems to be tight...

The extra sound is the liftgate locking mechanism pulling the tailgate closed completely... I'm not sure about the lift gate "jumping" though, mine operates pretty smoothly.

It does not do it when I manually close it. It almost seems like the last little bit the motor gives a little extra umph, and it pulls it shut. It is not like a jump, but when it closes it just moves enough to see it when it gives the last little thump is all...

Put it this way, you can see it move on the Drivers side, if you were watching the passenger side you would not know what it was.
