Power Steering doesnt compare to buddy's

Hey guys, I drove my buddys truck around the other day. Its a 1999 Tahoe 4 door. And mine is a 96 two door. His steering was like night and day compared to mine. Mine feels more like a truck, his is like feather steering. But, my front end is alot tighter than his, his is loose. I keep up with my front end, he doesnt. Did they put a more powerful power steering pump in the 1999?

dunno if it helps, but mine has the feather steering as well. doesnt feel like a truck, i agree. mines also a 99.

i never felt a 99s, but between the vortec and TBI .. holy damn! the tbi sucks balls.. lol
