So I noticed yesterday that I was leaking power steering fluid, found out today that it is coming from on the the hoses. It is one of the fittings, where it goes from rubber hose to metal. How much would this cost to have repaired? Or is it easy enough that Ijcan do it myself?

you can have the hose made cheaper than you can buy from the stealership. find a local hydraulic or hose supplier and have them quote it for you.

i need to replace mine before to long, they sort of seep, but aren't dripping or leaking much yet.

its supposed to be pretty straight foreward change, that you can do yourself from what i have read/heard.

Mine just started leaking. Yeah, looks like it is just two nuts and the hose comes off. Just that one of the hose ends is under the fluid reservoir, other than that, looks simple. Hopefully I can have someone make me a hose like, Okla mentioned.

On my '99, IIRC, it was a 15mm on both sides. It just unscrews from the pump, and gear box. The trickiest part is getting the fittings tight enough that they don't weep, but not so tight that they strip. Not hard though, on my '99 at least. :) :drunk:
