power steering line - gear to cooler

The high pressure line uses a cap seal . Do I need a cap seal on the low pressure line or is it a compression fit?

Does it look like this? On my trans line to the radiator had these. You can car fully slice them, use a cutoff wheel and went gentle. Took a screw driver and pried the the remaining off. After I replaced the line, it just slides over the tune and I used a hose clap to secure it.
