Hey yall. Allright please don't all come at me and call me crazy for this one, but this is what's happening. I get an intermittent "wooshing sound" from my power steering when i turn the wheel. See here
The only thing is, it only happens when I do something to agitate the AT fluid in any way. It first happened when I got my ATF changed a few weeks ago at the dealer. For the couple days after that, it made this sound, then went away. Then a couple days ago, I checked the ATF dipstick and put in back in, and this sound came right back as soon I got back in the car. Then went away again. Then today, checked the ATF again, and same sound came immediately after. I know the two systems aren't connected in any way, so how could touching the ATF elicit this sound? Any help would be appreciated. BTW, no power steering fluid leaks (that I know of), and no codes. '12 Tahoe 4wd
