2021 Yukon AT4.

This is behind the sill trim piece the goes up towards the dash on the front passenger side.

It looks like a power run but nothing is plugged into it? Anyone else have a dead end like this? Does yours plug in on the other side and run somewhere?

Anyone willing to pop theirs off quick and see if you have something plugged into it?

It is a fairly heavy gauge, looks like maybe 8 gauge. So I don’t think it would be for lighting.

There's unused connectors all over these vehicles so GM doesn't have to make a hundred different harnesses depending on options. If everything is working, I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise all the other unused connectors are gonna drive you nuts every time you work on your vehicle.

Here’s mine. ‘22 Yukon XL SLE Duramax. Given that yours is an AT4 (can’t be a Duramax) and mine is base level trim (minimal options), it leads me to believe it’s wiring for a function specific to the Duramax. The DEF tank is on the passenger side, so could it be the wiring for the DEF heater? That’s my guess…

I wondering if you could use it for something like an amplifier? Would save some headaches since it is already beyond the firewall.
