This is going to sound really simple, but what is the direction the veins are supposed to face on PowerSlot rotors??

I've literally seen vehicles with them pointing inward and some outward...when i installed them on my truck, i installed per the "R" and "L" stickers on the disc. "L" being Driver's Side.

With that in mind, my veins face inward (first photo). When you see these photos, think of the truck driving forward from the left to the ride side of the screen.

This of course goes against my personal logic of wicking water off the disc through the vein...what do you guys think?? Should I switch sides or keep them as-is?

The "slots" direction does not really matter. What is more important are the "vanes" in the center of the two halve of the rotor. Those are the cooling vanes.

There are two types, straight vane (you look from the top of the rotor to the center) and curved vane (you look from the top , but cant see to the center).

Straight vane can be mounted either way.....curve vane is directional according to the vanes not the slots.

In your case if the vanes are straight, which they probably are, then I would go with the second pic with the box, if your truck is going forwards from left to right, this would be the front right.

GP thank you for the education, appreciate it!

If the vanes are curved, which direction should they lead from top to bottom?

Example, if I'm looking at my vanes and the curve faces forward (towards the front of the truck), is that correct or incorrect?

Bowtie - thanks for your comments, is there a reason your rotors are mounted that way (you and I are identical)? I looked at stickers on discs and mounted....

same here...i wonder why PowerSlot chose to have our slots facing inward vs outward....most manufacturers are facing outwards.

Nice write-up by the way on the Torsion Bars.

I recall you don't offroad much, but if you're ever up for a day of 4x4, there is a place in PA a few guys from another site I'm part of head to - Rausch Creek.

With curved or slanted vanes, the rotation is with the vane curve (top of the rotor) facing to the rear of vehicle. Hope that helps, lol....bad pic.
