Hi guys,

what makes PPV models look different than the others?. police edition cars have something in them that attracts eyes. they look evil&stealthy. but what else?
bigger radiator?. less electronic parts? more reliability?. i noticed mine is lower than the normal ones. I bought my 2011 black PPV in Canada (the vehicle had only 1800 miles on it) great catch eh!?.

Here are the current specs:

http://www.gmfleet.com/police/chevy-tahoe-2wd-ppv.html

Nice catch. Our 2010 came with 90K miles on it. That's pretty low by most service truck standards. It still smells new inside!!

Yours will probably come w/o a console. Most were built with a 'console delete' option, so the municipalities could install their own 'cop console'. They are a simple bolt-in piece, and there's a guy selling new ebony ones in the for sale section. Grab one while you can.

mine looks like that but of course without the screen, steering wheel right side buttons and the leather seats (leather seats only in the back). I found cables in the centre console that I think it has something to do with police stuff. I assume the car never meant to serve the Canadian authorities because its in miles (in Canada they use kilos).
can GM sell PPV's to GM or non-GM dealership? or ordinary people? I was in love with the truck that I forgot to ask the guy how he got his hands on it. he said he will get another one soon.

Looks good ^^^^

The main thing I like about the ppv is the lack of a roof rack.

I hate them

They have to have first been owned by an agency, or been ordered by one and refuse to accept once the vehicle is built for a civilian to get one. If you are a LEO or other first responder, you can purchase new, but a regular guy cannot. Believe me, I've tried.

It's nice you got the console. Did yours also come with the Driver's Information Center (DIC) buttons? If not, it's a nice and relatively-cheap mod.

I love the clean, aggressive look of the PPV's. Especially in white! Did they ever produce a Suburban PPV? Lol
