pre hurricane pics

cleaned up my truck this week before hurricane irene also got my slp exaust installed and removed the orange reflector from the headlights.

thanks irene was a ***** that had everyone in panic mode. but all is well and my truck is filthy again lol

yeah my truck was nice and clean and waxed and took it out Sunday morn to get some gas for the generator and it is a disaster now.. Mud all over it and all I don't think it has ever been this dirty.

Well this is what mine looked like after the hurricane. Had to go to the office today because of no power at the house so wife just called and said power is back so she will be getting a nice bath tonight.

Lookin really good!!!...thought about opening my headlights and removing that reflector as well......any tips or advice?? I saw the thread with the link to do the 'how to'.....but any other tricks??

glad you guys and your rides are still in good condition. Mud and dirt, can be cleaned.

Sucks washing it though, then raining like crazy.

bake the headlights in oven on lowest setting for 10-15 minutes to heat the glue up. then pry apart the lens n housing, with flathead screwdriver butter knife or metal scraper. the orange reflector had 3 tabs that snap into the housing that can be pryed out. finally use clear silicone to seal them up again
