Premium Headlight/fog light Bulb for Tahoe

Having read Soulsea's thread on HID's, I am opting away from getting an HID bulb without the proper retrofit projector. In the mean time, I'd like to see what everyone else recommends as far as a good/premium halogen bulb (for headlights and fog lights) that you guys are using in your trucks.

Honestly I think the stock light output on my nnbs Tahoe is actually really good, so if a higher end halogen bulb can give me better results that would be awesome. I've done some research and know about Sylvania's bulbs (silverstar, ultra blue..etc) and phillips but wanted to see your feedback. Pics would be great (if you have them =D)

I've always had good with silver stars for a whiter light in the fogs. I've also had good luck with DDM HID kits in halogen projectors in my Prius (work car) and my fathers G8.

From my understanding the HID issue would apply to bulbs as well considering the manual says to use the dealer for new bulbs.

Go with the HIDs. Not much harder to install than a halogen bulb.

The manual says go to the dealer because you have to take out the airbox to get the the passenger side bulb. But it isn't hard to do.

Here is the output. Blows away the halogens in output and the cutoff looks great to me.
