Pressure issue. What did they "fix" from 2015 to 2016?

Hey guys. My wife, who never complains, is complaining of some weird air pressure thing going on with our 2016 Tahoe. She was unaware of the issues with the 2015 when she made this complaint. I can't detect it at all but she has sinus issues and she said it gives her a pounding headache at highway speeds. Opening several windows seems to fix the issue but that doesn't work well as it's loud and winter and baby in back. lol

So what did GM do to address the issues with the 2015 and make it a supposed non issue in the 2016? I'd love to check whatever they addressed to make sure it's in good shape. I spoke to the dealer about it but it didn't really go anywhere. It's especially tough as she's seemingly the only person who can detect it. FWIW it's a very very early 2016 LTZ model.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!

Best,
Gene

Hmmm. Maybe the noise canceling is bothering her? Does the ltz have that? Perhaps it's a booming issue that has a frequency only she can notice? Not sure. Perhaps others can chime in.

I've read that from '15 to '16 they changed either the adhesive or the way the adhesive is applied to the roof bows, and also something with the rear hatch seal (think this issue was blamed on a supplier). Both of these may contribute to the buffeting.

My early build '16 is approaching 15k miles and I'm noticing more pressure issues as time goes on. Wife just got a headache on a short trip last night.

There's lots of threads on this

Unfortunately, nothing has been changed from 2015 to 2017s ... can find buffeting, booming and vibrations still across all models and wheelbases
