I actually put it in the other day. The face (for lack of a better word) just pulls off and you can attach it pretty quick. You do need to use some force though to pull it out. I was a bit nervous about breaking something.

What about power?

There's an accessory power outlet on the back of the console under the cubbyhole hole. Is a wire already run for that, or do I need to run one?

mine isnt wire ready. it's just a hole with the cap over it. if you end up getting it to work, let me know. i wouldn't mind getting it functional if its a pretty simple fix.
