Price for a 09 Escalade

I went to the dealer the other day to look at Eskys, the one I liked was black on black loaded. The sticker was 74,000 at 0%. The dealer did not have one on the lot but he told me he can get it from another dealer but he would have to but it from them and that they can't just swap out Eskys anymore. So since he said he had to but it they would not come off the sticker of 74,000 which I think is BS so I told him he could keep it and left. Can someone tell me how much I should be able to get this Escalade for. He also said he can only do one of the 3 things either 05 OR THE MONEY BACK HE CANT DO BOTH.

First, it is either 0% or the Rebate but that doesn't mean they can't come off sticker and give you 0% (or Rebate). He was playing hardball or figured you weren't really interested in buying.
Transfers from other dealerships aren't "free" and if he had to get it from a competitor he may well have to buy it from them at invoice. Then he has very little to play with.

Keep looking,,, or, if you are really serious, look on line and find the vehicle you want. Negotiate over the phone and pay the dealer to ship it to you. Shipping would be less than $1000 to anywhere.

Thanks for your input, where is the best place on line to find out what they pay for it or there invoice price. How close to invoice will they sell it for?

I don't know where you live, but here in Texas where suv's are king supplies are tight. Prices are stable if not rising. Certainly never take sticker, but I think gone are the days where dealers will fight with each other for a sale. Over production is gone and I think the great prices are as well. When i bought mine in Feb. people said I bought too soon and should have waited for the summer gas prices to stall sales. You should be able to get close to dealer hold back which is around 3 percent. I just don't know what it is on an esky. I love my tahoe ltz it is hands down the best vehicle on the road today. The GMT900's, for all the bitching everyone does about them, truly deliver. Get one before obama kills them!
