Problem installing HID's in 2000 Yukon

Hey guys, I personally don't own a Yukon but a buddy of mine at work does and we're having a helluva time with the HID's. The kit is from DDM, that I supplied to him. I've used DDM kits lots before and never had an issue. I gave him the kit to install as it is very straight forward. He installed it and the bulbs wouldn't come on. I got the kit back from him and tested everything with one of my vehicles (not a GM) and they worked perfect. So the kit is good. I thought maybe he did something incorrectly so I installed it. Still nothing. Pulled the DRL fuse and still nothing. Are we missing something? Overlooking something? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

try reversing the positive and negative wires on the harness from the factory bulb plug.

yup, common on HID's to be reversed.

That was it. Just went out to his truck and flipped the plug. Wouldn't ya know, they lit right up.
