Problem with a set of LED headlights ?

I installed a set of "Fahren H8/H9/H11" Led headlights low beam and the factory twist-on seal caps don't fit anymore. These seem light a better set of lights, but I'm wondering if not having the lights seal is going to invite a water problem. The LED lights need their built-in fans to operate, so do you think I can operate these bulbs without a problem ? Anyone else do a upgrade like this and have experience with this kind of a catch ? Sorry, this is the best picture I was able to take. You can see the tail of the bulbs and the heat sink doesn't if in the space allotted. Thank you !

I used LEDs from JDM Astar, and (1) all fit perfectly into the truck's receptacles (except for the fog lights, which needed a minor trim adjustment to the receptacles), (2) all of the exterior connectors and related o-ring moisture seals fit perfectly into the truck's receptacles, just like the original stock halogen bulbs, and (3) my high power LEDs have heat sinks versus fans to remove the excess heat from the LED assemblies.

Regarding not having a good LED-to-receptacle moisture seal for the exterior LEDs, that would be a concern to me.

i'm pretty sure the rubber caps are just a "dust" seal, on my 18 silverado my replacement lights came with a small rubber seal that was about the size of a quarter (where the wires go thru) so I cut out a quarter sized circle out of the center of the rubber cap and the seal fits perfect, if I ever put them back to stock I can buy or find used rubber caps no big deal.

is that canbus box removable? I have a set of Hikari LEDs and have no issues. they do not require the extra box thing.

I don't see the make/year/model of your truck in your posts, so I assume that you came up with this referenced JDM Astar offering from their web site, after plugging in your truck's details.

My JDM Astar LEDs provide much more light, than the stock halogen bulbs. Night and day difference.

Yes that is a Heat-sink part ot the LED lights, that is why the dust-caps don't fit on anymore. These are nice and bright, but they have to go !

Yes they are JDM Astar Vehicle fit bulbs. I have a 2015 Tahoe LT and I thought I fixed my profile page ? I don't have fog lights on this truck.

OK, well I put these LED lights in today,

JDM ASTAR High Performance 1:1 Design H11 H8 H16 White Light Output Up to 100% More Downroad Visibility LED Headlight Bulbs/Fog Light Bulbs [/B][/SIZE]

And they fit perfectly into the lens I can't believe how complicated GM decided to make this minor operation. And of course, GM still uses the cheapest plastic available and I broke off 2 clips in the air box? I took the air box out and flushed it out with the garden hose. If anyone is thinking of these great LED bulbs, be aware that these bulbs are advertised as 1:1 meaning they fit as the halogen bulbs do and if you put them in and you can't get the factory dust covers back on, just turn the bulbs around 180 degrees and install them and the dust caps will fit perfectly. For whatever reasons GM had, they didn't make the bulbs centered in the housing, so the bulbs are offset.

Without the caps, you will get water in and probably short out the led bulbs. You'll also get a lot of moisture in the headlight unit and where we live, that would mean you wouldn't get an inspection sticker.
I installed a set of Supernova LEDs in my 16 Tahoe this week and the caps fit fine. It is difficult getting the air handler out and getting the high beam leds to fit was a chore as you can't see anything and my hands are just too big.
