Hey guys, just put a new crate motor in my Tahoe this last March. The old one ran good until it took a crap... anyway, after we put the new motor in, the Tahoe has not ran good since. All the sensors in the engine bay has been replaced. It is just running terrible. Never has a check engine light on unless I let it idle for about 20 to 25 minutes. Then It shuts off usually after driving about a block or so. Put a scanner on it the other day just to see if there were any codes. And holy cow, there definitely was. There was 11 of them. 24, 23, 21, 35, 34, 25, 51, 55, 54, 53, 52. I need some help, I have gone through and it seems like all the grounds are attached. I put a new ECM in today and still the same codes came up. I don't know where else to look or what to check. If you have any possible ideas. Please let me know. Thank you.

in general it has a vcm/prom and various sensor faults but one code indicates that the voltage is to high. run a test for your charging system for faulty voltage regulation.

Battery not running was at 12.85 Volts. Battery while running was at 14.35 Volts and when I accelerate to about 1500 to 2000 RPM's it doesn't go above 14.55 Volts.

not bad really as the stock normally does not get that high. good for audio amps. turn on headlights and put hvac blower on high then raise rpm to more then 2k. what voltage is it then?

Everything on and running battery is sitting at about 14.35 Volts. And everything on and running and over 2,000 RPM's the battery didn't go any higher than 14.48 Volts
