Anyone have any problems with their parking brake? I never use mine, because when I do, it freaks out when I release it. It will keep thinking it is on and the rear park assist light will keep flashing saying its disabled or something like that. I have to play with the parking release for it to finally release that it is not engaged.

Anyone have anything similar with theirs?

Parking brakes are pretty crude devices, so it's not likely anything too complex! The only contact they have with the vehicle's electrical system is the on-off switch. It's fairly accessible at the front edge (vehicle front) of the PB assembly. It's just a little blade switch made of bent metal - I would guess yours is a little bent or something so that it is not breaking contact cleanly. Try a little judicious bending.
